In a project that is part of the EIT Health Campus E-Lab activity line, the Smart-up Lab began with a Design Thinking workshop. A programme for future innovators and entrepreneurs began with a one-day teach-the-teacher training and two days of teaching students the Design Thinking method, in workshops conducted by members of the EIT Health partner Karolinska Institutet, in Lodz, Poland.

The project began with 20 teachers who took part in a workshop dedicated to people with teaching experience who want to add innovative methods to their lessons. They learned how to instruct students in the Design Thinking method.

This exciting meeting shows how important is to cooperate on international stage in educational programs. Different points of view and motivation to work served as great solutions and provided energy to create ideas for startups through the Smart-up Lab programme.
