How it works

1. Free Intro Course

Discover how innovation works by acquiring a general understanding of innovation lingo and removing innovation obstacles.

Format:

  • Self-paced, digital learning experience

Attending and completing the introductory course is mandatory for all learners that want to apply for the rest of the courses across the track.

2. Innovation Ambassadors Course

Systematic innovation training where you will solve your own case by applying the insights you learn from the course with the support from a facilitator of your institution.

Modules:

  • What is innovation and how can it be applied in a healthcare context?
  • Individual case problem identification
  • User involvement regarding needs identification
  • Idea generation with and without stakeholder involvement
  • Prototyping/testing – including user involvement

Format:

  • Online sessions to follow at your own pace and some live sessions offered by experts on the field
  • Hands-on work in teams, guided by a facilitator of your organisation, to put in practice the theoretical contents into the real scenario

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be a healthcare staff
  • Apply in teams of 2-5 from your own institution
  • Attended and completed the introductory e-course

3. Innovation for Leaders Course

Discuss and reflect on the leader’s role in achieving systematic innovation which delivers real value.

 

Modules:

  • How a future-focused leader promotes a culture of innovation by engaging and inspiring an innovative approach
  • How to build innovation capacity in an organisation by creating the right conditions and removing obstacles
  • How the various necessary interacting elements of strategic innovation management, such as context, leadership, organization, communication, evaluation, analysis, etc., are interrelated

Format:

  • Live sessions blending theory and practice
  • Small online assignmentsinbetween sessions

  • Be a healthcare staff
  • Be a formal or an informal leader in healthcare
  • Attended and completed the introductory e-course
