ENERGHY: Global Health Innovation and Entrepreneurship

 

ENERGHY is a toolbox, experiential learning and the ground zero of a mindset transformation for a new generation of global health innovators. It is designed to empower postgraduate students, postdocs and young professionals to co-create new business models with patients and experts to democratize health and increase prosperity for all. ENERGHY provides unparalleled access to real global health challenges that call for innovative and inclusive solutions.

 

 

What you get

Over the 3-week course, you will develop an entrepreneurial mindset; acquiring innovation, management and communication knowledge and skills to create a start-up. Accredited European Postgraduate course (5ECTS).

Curriculum details

Over the course of the programme, you will cover:

 

  • Challenges in global health
  • Needs-led innovation
  • Innovation for health equity
  • Moving to smart health
  • Innovation & entrepreneurship: searching for opportunities
  • Market discovery validation: building successful value propositions
  • Start-up your business: product development and business design
  • Start-up your business: financials and investment
  • Pitching: coaching and elaboration

Key details

Format:

Online, in English, full-time for 14 days over the course of three weeks.

Cost:

€875 plus university taxes. Ten scholarships sponsored by Sanofi Espoir Foundation are available for participants coming from low and middle-income countries.

Credits:

Five European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits.

Dates:

  • MSc and PhD students
  • Postdoctoral researchers
  • Young entrepreneurs and professionals motivated to lead change in global health coming from a different discipline
