Fostering management and innovation skills for health professionals
With digitalisation, ageing populations and rising costs, today’s healthcare managers need appropriate education. This course offers innovative training based on real challenges.
The new Master in Health Care Management is a cross-disciplinary degree programme co-offered by the Department of Business Studies and the Faculty of Medicine at Uppsala University. Students can choose from a variety of credit-giving courses within the programme. Students will learn by working on real management challenges developed in cooperation with the university hospital and our private-sector partners from the Uppsala life sciences cluster.
The programme draws on expertise across the entire university – and also from partners running sister programs at Groningen University in the Netherlands and Southeast University in Nanjing, China. Leveraging the expertise of all three partners, the programme lets students cross-fertilise their learning to develop a global perspective on innovating in health care.
