Innovation and Impact Bootcamp


Are you looking to add value to your product and understand your market fit?

We offer you a launchpad for the most innovative medtech ideas, helping you develop them to their full potential. This bootcamp provides hands-on support through online sessions with the Innovation and Impact Center at TU Delft, Netherlands. Designed together with our network of EIT Health partners, the programme has strong links with leading healthcare institutes to kick start your journey.

During the 8-week programme, industry experts will guide you through a detailed business analysis of your medtech innovation. You will also explore and validate your approach while refining your business model to launch in markets across Europe.

How it works

Get your application started

Applications are made through the EIT Health application portal, however the Innovation and Impact Bootcamp will not be running in 2021. Check back next year for 2022 applications!

Application evaluation

2 of 5

A selection committee will review and evaluate all applications and select the most promising teams based on criteria that includes market research, quality of business idea, fit for the programme and team motivation.

Selection day

The best applicants will be invited to pitch to the selection panel. This involves a 15-minute video call where you will be asked to introduce yourself, pitch your innovation and answer our questions.

If selected, you will meet with our teams to identify the key role our experts and mentors can play in taking your business to the next level.

You will then begin the intensive 8-week bootcamp that will help you validate your product, understand your market potential and extend your network.

Who should apply?

To qualify for the Innovation and Impact Bootcamp, you must:

  • Be based in any Horizon Europe country.
  • Be Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 and up
  • Have a technological idea/solution in the medical field
  • Have a motivated and committed team, including at least one founding member
  • Have a team available for at least two days a week throughout September and October

It is free to apply to the programme. Selected applicants will be asked to pay €1,250 per team for participation in the bootcamp. This must be paid before the onboarding process.
