InnoStars Navigator: Empowering start-ups in Europe’s Outermost Regions

This eight-week online programme is designed for early-stage health-tech start-ups located in the Outermost Regions seeking access to investment, knowledge, and networking opportunities.

It offers tailored guidance and online sessions to help start-ups overcome regional challenges, prepare for investment, and scale their innovations. Participants will benefit from personalized mentoring in their chosen business areas, expert-led investment preparation, and insights into early health technology assessment (eHTA) for better valuation. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to connect with European investors, industry leaders, and fellow entrepreneurs at the prestigious InnoStars Grand Final.

Outermost regions

Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Réunion, Martinique, Mayotte and Saint-Martin (France), the Azores and Madeira (Portugal), and the Canary Islands (Spain).

How it works

Eligibility requirements

Form of the company: micro and small enterprises (according to EU SME definition), spin-offs and start-ups
Maturity of the company: start-ups that have a prototype or MVP and currently have no income
Registration requirement: The company must be incorporated/registered before the sub-granting agreement initiation.
Geographical eligibility: Applicants can apply only with registered legal entities from the

  • The proposals must be focused on the health-tech industry.
  • Companies who received a grant for the same project/service/product in 2020, 2021, 2022 or 2023 from European Health Catapult or Bridgehead or Gold Track or Attract To Invest or InnoStars Awards are not eligible to apply for the programme
  • Applicants cannot apply to multiple programmes within the same year, such as the InnoStars Awards, InnoStars Connect, other RIS Business Creation programmes, European Health Catapult, or Bridgehead programmes in 2024.
