RIS Academy aims to give entrepreneurs, innovators, and healthcare professionals essential skills to navigate the healthcare innovation ecosystem. RIS Academy, available for candidates coming from more progressing EU regions, is a training series that builds on developing competencies in the areas identified by investors and healthcare experts as crucial for being at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

eHTA introductory course
- Curriculum: Aids current and prospect technology developers, owners and investors in making evidence-informed decisions about further investment in the development of medical devices and digital health technologies, especially with expected public reimbursement or procurement.

HelloAI RIS
- Curriculum: Focuses on advanced AI concepts and how to apply customised solutions with various tools and methodologies.
- Format: Online 10 weeks courses, with self-paced learning, group work, and online seminars. For students, ECTS credits are available in HelloAI RIS.
- Eligibility Requirements: This course is open for candidates from EIT Health RIS eligible countries within any of the next profiles:
- For medical and IT students, concept-stage entrepreneurs (7.5 ECTS credits can be earned)
- Practising and senior medical professionals, healthcare IT executives, and entrepreneurs with mature solutions
Basics of Digital Health
- Curriculum: Empowers healthcare professionals to develop digital transformation in their institutions by gaining basic skills in innovation development and discovering new digital health opportunities for new ways of working.
- Format: Online 10 weeks courses, with self-paced learning, group work, and online seminars. For students, 5 ECTS credits are available in Basics of Digital Health.
- Cost: Registration fee for Basics of €75,63 + VAT 19%

- EIT Health RIS scholarship is available for citizens coming from the RIS region, for them only 10% own contribution is required.
- Eligibility Requirements: This course is open for candidates from EIT Health RIS eligible countries within any of the next profiles:
- Professionals in the healthcare sector: doctors, medical students or other students in health areas, managers, professionals with decision-making responsibilities.
