Predicare offers clinically approved RETTS to help hospitals during COVID-19 pandemic
RETTS (Rapid Emergency Triage & Treatment System), in combination with COVID-19 pre-screening triage, can give medical staff an objective assessment of each patient’s medical risk and guideline of following actions.
Offered by Swedish company Predicare, RETTS has been clinically approved and used in emergency rooms for 15 years. It covers 95% Swedish and 65% Norwegian hospitals and ambulances. Since February, RETTS has been successfully used at hospitals in China for triage of COVID-19 and other patients.
As each healthcare system/country has a defined pathway based on clinical assessment, discussion will be needed at a local level to agree on actions implemented based on the RETTS assessment.
RETTS is easy to access and training can be completed within one day, but translation may be needed. Predicare is happy to split that cost with the user.
RETTS is currently available in Swedish, Norwegian and English.
