Kinesis Health’s self-assessment and monitoring tools help to prevent falls

The current COVID-19 crisis situation has resulted in many older adults having to remain indoors with limited contact with others.

Kinesis Health Technologies offer tools that can help empower older adults and their carers to stay healthy and take appropriate action to prevent falls during this difficult period.

Kinesis Screen is a free online self-screening tool that provides older adults with tailored tips and advice, including appropriate exercise routines and COVID-19 specific advice based on their level of falls risk.

Kinesis Balance is a smartphone app that uses the sensors in the phone and simple questionnaires to allow older adults to monitor falls risk in the home and allows relatives and carers remotely monitor changes in falls risk. Combined with Kinesis Screen it provides a convenient, evidence-based means of monitoring and addressing falls and frailty in the home.

Kinesis Health Technologies, is a fall prevention company based in Dublin, Ireland. Their products are based on 12 years of research and have been used for over 30,000 fall risk assessments. Kinesis is a registered medical device manufacturer under the EU Medical Device Directive. They are GDPR compliant.
