The AI assistant has been updated to help in the response to COVID-19
Phelix AI has recently released an intelligent assistant for triaging and facilitating secure telephone appointments. The tool can manage thousands of calls per minute. In addition to primary care triaging, it includes a COVID-19 triage pathway, and it can facilitate additional functionality such as scheduling and launching virtual care.
The customisable triaging assistant includes location tagging, automated follow-up questionnaires (for tracking/reporting), and automating booking of tests or other visits, while interfacing with a provider’s electronic medical record (EMR) schedule.
The COVID-19 tool can assess COVID-19 symptoms, social history, and travel history over a 3-5 minute automated phone call, or by SMS, utilising the latest clinical indicators and pathways to direct patients for testing, quarantine, self-isolation, or seek care from other virtual care tools. The tool also comes with a dashboard that logs a summary of each caller in real-time, and flags patients that require further assessment or follow-up, thereby saving time for front-line responders and providers.
The telehealth tool solution is already live with WellHealth Technologies via a white-label model in Canada and they’re now looking to implement the tool across Europe.
