On 20-21 June 2023, the second annual Bits & Pretzels HealthTech Conference will take place at the ICM, in Munich, Germany. EIT Health and our Partner, Roche, are founding partners of this dynamic annual event which puts healthtech start-ups at its core.
The event unites Europe’s brightest minds in healthtech. Join us as we bring together over 2,500 healthtech start-up founders, investors, healthcare providers, and corporate executives to advance the healthcare ecosystem through new alliances, technology, and entrepreneurship.

EIT Health stage co-hosted with Future4Care
The EIT Health stage, co-hosted with Future4Care, is where you’ll gain pan-European perspectives on groundbreaking projects and opportunities in the global HealthTech ecosystem. We invite you to dive into exciting discussions where you will hear first-hand accounts from corporates, discover the challenges of integrating evidence-based medicine in preventative care, unpick the mechanics of hospitals and healthcare systems, and learn about procurement of innovation. We’ll also explore how our community must navigate the talent gap and – the one you’ve all been waiting for – how we help start-ups find the right investors for their cap table to impact their business model! Finally, no stage would be complete without a showcase of high-potential start-ups! So join us to meet the rising stars from our EIT Health and Future4Care ecosystem.

EIT Health Catapult finals
This year the EIT Health Catapult finals take place at Bits & Pretzels HealthTech for the first time! The programme boosts the development of European health start-ups by exposing them to leading experts and international investors. Winners often go on to achieve impressive growth. For example, Leuko, one of last year’s winners, closed a €5M Series A round only five months after being awarded Catapult MedTech Winner as well as receiving two Catapult industry awards (eg technology and AstraZeneca).
Join us on June 20 to see three podium finalists from each category – BioTech, MedTech and Digital Health – compete on the main stage. Our runners-up are invited to the final to have the opportunity to pitch on a side stage. Meet our 21 EIT Health Catapult finalists from across Europe.

Have you participated in one of our EIT Health programmes? As a member of our community, you can apply for special access packages to attend the event. These packages can go from covering your event ticket up to grants to cover your travel and accommodation fees if you’re attending from another country in the EU.
Our access packages will be allocated based on the quality of your application and priority will be given to start-ups with a strong connection to EIT Health.
