HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition

EIT Health is participating in HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition, one of the most influential digital health conferences, taking place in Rome 29-31 May, 2024 at Centro Congressi Roma La Nuvola. The conference will focus on the pressing issues such as the impact of climate change and artificial intelligence on healthcare, health system resilience and equity.

EIT Health is co-organising the Start-up Pitchfest, part of the Innovation Forum on May 29th. Marc Julien, Managing Director of EIT Health France, will join as speaker. The HIMSS24 Europe Start-up Pitchfest celebrates innovative companies with emerging solutions to genuinely validated, intractable problems faced by health systems and providers.

Additionally, Jérome Fabiano, Deputy Managing Director of EIT Health France, will moderate a panel discussion focusing on the governance, regulation, and validation of digital health technologies. Attendees can expect insights into the evolving landscape of reimbursement pathways across Europe, including updates on leading initiatives such as the EDiHTA project and the Digital Medical Device taskforce (DiGa).  The session will also delve into notable programmes like the French “Pecan” Early Access to Reimbursement for Digital Medical Devices and more.
