The DiGA Fast Track is Germany’s new, structured way for digital healthcare solutions (German: DiGA) to get access to the German statutory healthcare system, reaching more than 75 million citizens.
Since May 2020, the online application form for DiGA at BfArM (Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices – German equivalent to the FDA) is live. DiGA that successfully pass the application process can be prescribed by any German physician and psychotherapist, DiGA manufacturers get reimbursed by the German statutory health insurers.
On 16th of September, Health Innovation Hub will host the English-speaking “International DiGA Summit” targeting digital health companies, policy makers and payer representatives from across the world to outline the DiGA Fast Track in detail, present the process towards approval and be there for extensive Q&A.
