EIT RawMaterials, in collaboration with the European Commission, Directorate-General for DG EAC (Education, Youth, Sport and Culture), is glad to announce the first Women and Girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Forum and is inviting the public to join.
The Women and Girls in STEM Forum will gather a high-level panel of policy-makers, researchers and practitioners to discuss gender equality as a precondition for creating a carbon-neutral and circular Europe. Mariya Gabriel, EU Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth will be opening the event through a video keynote.
As part of the event, EIT Health is delighted to share that our EIT Health Alumni representative and recently appointed EIT Alumni president, Anca Del Rio, will act as a student mentor in a session taking place from 9:45 to 10:45am. Acting as a role model, she will help inspire students to embrace their passion free from any societal or cultural prejudice.
