One of the Accelerator GoGlobal programmes
Nine European healthcare SMEs gained knowledge that will help them break into the Japanese market at an intensive 3-6 September 2018 workshop held at BioM in Martinsried, Germany, as part of EIT Health Start.Smart.Japan programme.
Smart.Start.Japan is one of four EIT Health Accelerator GoGlobal programmes, all of which aim to provide companies in medtech, biotech and digital health with the competence needed for international expansion.
As an article on the BioM website explains, participants in the interactive cultural training practiced soft skills crucial for successful relationship building and business communication in Japan.
They also underwent a reality check by discussing market entry plans with experts from their business sector, as well as peers who are already successfully operating in Japan.
