EIT Health Campus is now accepting applications for the Call for Proposals for Summer Schools 2018. Applications are being accepted until 27 November 2017.
About Campus Summer Schools
Through this call, EIT Health will seek partners from universities, research institutes, industry and the public sector to deliver Summer Schools in 2018. Summer Schools are two-to-three week programmes. Compared to E-Labs or other Campus activities, Summer Schools stand at the beginning of the health innovation pathway.
Their main objective is to deliver the knowledge, skills and attitude that can prepare learners for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in fields relevant to the three major challenges EIT Health seeks to address: promoting healthy living, supporting active ageing and improving healthcare. Each school/course should address one or more of these challenges, or a cross-cutting topic.
Summer Schools applicants will be encouraged to pilot/test new educational methods, tools and pedagogies to bring about innovation. They will also be encouraged to involve industry partners and other non-academic stakeholder as much as possible, as this is extremely beneficial for students’ exposure and advancement.
