ecoplus joins EIT Health Austria!

ecoplus, the business agency of Lower Austria, joins EIT Health Austria as a Network Partner.

The privately run agency offers tailored services to businesses, offices in 16 business parks throughout Lower Austria, relocation services, help in accessing regional funding and connects businesses locally in specialised clusters and platforms for innovative cooperation projects.

Its healthcare platform is the first point of contact for all future-oriented companies and R&D organisations in the healthcare sector that want to initiate, develop and implement solutions for Lower Austrian hospitals and care facilities.

„The long-term goal of the ecoplus health tech platform is the development of new products and services. We focus on new training programmes in the healthcare sector, as well as knowledge transfer”, says Claus Zeppelzauer from the Senior Management at ecoplus. „Joining forces with EIT Health Austria therefore makes a lot of sense and will help our members to stay connected with their European peers!”

For over 60 years, ecoplus has acted as an economic policy driver for Lower Austria – with an impressive track record: since 1987, ecoplus has successfully supported 2,623 company relocations and site expansions. This has secured or created around 52,900 new jobs. More than 3,700 regional development projects have created over 26,000 jobs in the region across all industry sectors.
