22nd August 2018

RIS Hub increasing awareness of EIT Health at the Medical University of Gdańsk

The meeting was organised by the Technology Transfer Office at the Medical University of Gdańsk – one of the RIS Hubs – on 12 December.

The event was dedicated to students, PhD students and MUG’s scientists.

During the first part of the meeting, we had the pleasure of listening to the presentation of the representatives of Detoxed Home Sp. z o.o. and SensDx Sp. z o. o. start-ups, which brought the audience closer to the path of developing their activities from the idea to the cur-rent successes.

The President of the Management Board of the MUG’s Special Purpose Entity and the employees of the Technology Transfer Office also gave speeches. During the second part of the meeting, the representatives of the Student Science Clubs presented their activities and successes.

Additionally, there was a presentation of a service offer of the Parks of the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone and a very interesting presentation about artificial intelligence in medicine. The EIT Health mentor explained the importance of integrating and cooperating closely with leading medical enterprises, universities and research centres (KTI).
