EIT Health to welcome 6 new partners in live event

For the second time this year, EIT Health will be welcoming new partners to its extensive network of healthcare innovators.

The four new partners, Hospices Civiles de Lyon (HCL) from France, Novartis, Norwegian University of Science and Technology from Norway and Biogen from Germany, will be introduced during a live event on 13 September, alongside Erasmus University Rotterdam who joined in February and Syreon Research Institute who joined in May. Earlier this year, 14 new partners were announced in a similar event,

EIT Health is quickly growing, reinforcing and enriching the networking capabilities to achieve impact across Europe. The world-leading partners proactively apply their strengths and resources to drive innovation to improve the outcomes that matter to people and enable them to live longer and healthier lives.

The live event in September will take place from 12:00 to 13:00 CET and will be an opportunity to learn about the new additions to the network. Representatives of each of the new partners will introduce themselves, followed by a discussion moderated by EIT Health CEO, Jan-Philipp Beck.

About the partners (order by acceptance to the network)

Erasmus University Rotterdam (joined the network in Feb) is a highly ranked, international research university, based in the dynamic and diverse city of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Play a leading role in solving complex societal challenges and transitioning to a sustainable, empowered and inclusive health(care) ecosystem.

Syreon Research Institute (joined the network in May) an independent research-oriented company from Budapest . It has been providing expert services since 2008 in the fields of evidence synthesis, health economics, health policy, and public health, and conducts training for public health care institutes, the pharmaceutical and health services sector

Hospices Civils de Lyon is the second largest University Hospital in France. Their core missions include care, research, and education. They are interested in fostering new ideas, develop research projects and clinical trials, and exploit the value of health data

Novartis is a global pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Switzerland joining the EIT health to develop valuable partnerships and solutions to improve healthcare quality and efficiency

Biogen is a global biotechnology company that pushes frontiers within neuroscience, by using technology to solve key unmet needs, by which we will achieve personalized medicine & individualized care

Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is a public research university in Norway. It is the largest university in the country with over 8,000 employees and over 40,000 students. NTNU is well known for its close collaboration with industry.
