Fighting drug-resistant bacteria in hospitals

SpinDiag, one of the finalists in the European Health Catapult 2017, supported by EIT Health, was recently featured in a German TV news show. SpinDiag addresses the challenge of patients who introduce drug-resistant bacteria into hospitals with a new, rapid point-of-care screening system to test all risk patients for all relevant drug-resistances.
This affordable solution allows doctors to make an informed decision the spot about whether a patient needs to be isolated from others.
The team has now been portrayed on German Television SWR in a report that can be seen here, starting at minute 11:45 in this news show. SpinDiag, a German-based firm, is currently hiring a finance/office manager. See the current job offers here.
