Fundación EIT Health Spain, a Co-Location Centre (regional hub) of EIT Health, which is part of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, a body of the European Union, welcomes GSK as a new member of the network. The addition of the global biopharmaceutical company represents a decisive step in strengthening the Spanish and European health innovation ecosystem led by EIT Health, promoting joint work among all key players in the sector to address current major health challenges.
With a distribution network in over 100 countries, a broad portfolio of 20 vaccines and more than 150 primary care medicines, GSK brings to the European organisation its transformative vision based on disease prevention, digitisation and accelerating the development of innovative therapies.
This alliance aims, among other objectives, to foster the sustainable transformation of the healthcare system, encourage the training and development of digital skills of healthcare professionals, reduce diagnosis and treatment time, improve the management of complex diseases through digital health and promote collaboration and knowledge exchange with all members of the network and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
