MatchPoint: A student initiative in Budapest
Students from a variety of disciplines were to present their proposals for innovations in healthcare and other fields to an audience of representatives of incubation programmes and investors in MatchPoint, a 6 February 2019 matchmaking programme at Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest that was developed as a student initiative and co-organised by EIT Health Innostars.

The opening of the event was dedicated to presentations by students and young innovators in the fields of healthcare, technology and business, who shared their ideas. The presenters received coaching from InnoStars experts and others.
The purpose of the event was to expose students to the experience of promoting their innovations and to allow for networking between Budapest’s youngest generation of innovators and the organisations that may eventually hire them.
The event was co-organised by InnoStars and the EIT Health Accelerator pillar, along with InnoStars Partner Semmelweis University as well as external organisations: Demola Budapest, a part of the global alliance of universities and InCube BCE, a Hungarian student organisation.
