Soutenu par EIT Health et en partenariat avec la Fondation Sanofi Espoir et l’AP-HP, l’Institut Universitaire d’Ingénierie en Santé de Sorbonne Université lance cette semaine la deuxième édition de ce programme d’immersion unique en France.

Cette année, 1 grand défi, l’Accès aux soins, adressé par 2 « Focus Areas » : la Santé maternelle/néonatale & les Urgences hospitalières.

Nouveauté 2021 : l’immersion des fellows se fera à Paris (AP-HP) mais aussi au Sénégal (Hôpital de Saint-Louis), en vue d’identifier des besoins communs et les adresser par des technologies accessibles aux soignants et aux patients du monde entier.

Deux équipes pluridisciplinaires de fellows vont suivre pendant 8 mois un parcours d’innovation qui se concentre sur des besoins médicaux insuffisamment adressés, en vue de construire des solutions technologiques concrètes. L’approche Need-Led Innovation permet de concevoir des solutions qui répondent aux enjeux du marché tout en étant proches du terrain médical et des patients

Fit4Health Innovation en pratique :  des rencontres avec des cliniciens de l’AP-HP et de l’Hôpital Saint-Louis du Sénégal, des acteurs de terrain sur la santé des femmes en situation de précarité, des ateliers méthodologiques animés par les partenaires du réseau EIT Health Innovation Fellowships (University of  Oxford; Rise Stockolm).

Launch of the Fit4Health Innovation 2021 programme at Sorbonne University

Supported by EIT Health and in partnership with the Sanofi Espoir Foundation and AP-HP, the Institut Universitaire d’Ingénierie en Santé de Sorbonne University is launching this week the second edition of this unique immersion programme in France.

This year, 1 major challenge, Access to healthcare, addressed by 2 “Focus Areas”: Maternal/Neonatal Health & Hospital Emergencies.

New in 2021: the fellows’ immersion will take place in Paris (AP-HP) but also in Senegal (Saint-Louis Hospital), in order to identify common needs and address them through technologies accessible to caregivers and patients worldwide.

Two multi-disciplinary teams of fellows will attent an 8-month course of innovation focusing on insufficiently addressed medical needs, with a view to building concrete technological solutions. The Need-Led Innovation approach makes it possible to design solutions that respond to the challenges of the market while being close to the medical field and patients.

Fit4Health Innovation in practice: meetings with clinicians from AP-HP and Hôpital Saint-Louis in Senegal, field workers on the health of women in precarious situations, methodological workshops led by partners of the EIT Health Innovation Fellowships network (University of Oxford; Rise Stockolm).
