New series of interviews with healthcare innovators

26th March 2019

EIT Health InnoStars presents inspiring stories of people involved in the EIT Health Community

EIT Health InnoStars launched a new series of talks on the InnoStarter platform. The first two interviews were focused around International Women’s Day and the #BalanceforBetter idea.

Chiara Maiorino, Education Director at EIT Health InnoStars, and Natasha Rosa, Project Manager at the University of Porto, one of the EIT Health RIS Hubs – shared their experiences on how they decided to step into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), how their relationship with EIT Health has helped them make progress in their careers, and what would be their advice for young women, interested in science. You can find out why Chiara didn’t become a surgeon here, and what it was that Natasha found to be a herculean task here.

We are a learning organisation. Thus we wish to inspire people who want to make their impact on the healthier world, and built around the EIT Health Community. We want to share their stories, what drives them, and the challenges faced when trying to discover answers in the field of healthcare and innovation. Further interviews will be also published on the new InnoStarter website.
