Smart Teacher kicks off with workshop

Educational activity involves cross-KIC cooperation with EIT RawMaterials

On 6-9 November 2017, representatives of Medical University of Lodz and the secondary schools of Lodz region met at the Medical University of Lodz to develop their teaching techniques within the international project Smart Teacher, a cross-KIC initative that involves cooperation between EIT Health and EIT RawMaterials. The workshop was focused on developing techniques that help to better align the elements of entrepreneurship and innovation to future didactic activities. The course is prepared as interactive workshop, including: exercises, case studies, teaching methods, real challenges, cooperation with business partners.

Problems and challenges to be addressed will be defined during the session with repersenation of three Polish companies:

  • Bartosz Pampuch – Vice President of the Management Board of Comarch Healthcare S.A.
  • Karol Cieślar – General Director of ALUMETAL-TECHNIK SP.z O.O. sp.k
  • Jakub Musiałek – CEO of Pixel Technology s.c.

The challenges will be developed in the next six weeks with the above mentioned companies and students of Medical University of Lodz and pupils of the secondary schools involved.

The Smart Teacher workshop was organized together with project partners: Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, IESE Business School, Luleå University of Technology, Lodz University of Technology.
