EIT Health InnoStars launches the Strategic Partnership Initiatives for Competitive Edge (SPICE) programme, designed to support innovative healthcare solutions in RIS countries. We are seeking implementing partners to provide tailored services that will accelerate the development and commercialisation of selected SPICE subgrantees.

About the SPICE programme
The SPICE programme is a new initiative by EIT Health InnoStars aimed at fostering healthcare innovation in EIT RIS countries. Its goal is to attract, select, and support forward-thinking organisations by offering specialised services that advance their solutions toward commercialisation. Selected subgrantees and partners will work together to deliver impactful healthcare innovations that benefit European citizens.

Who Should Apply?
This call is open to legal entities, including business organisations, academic institutions, research centres, healthcare organisations.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility: Be a legal entity registered in one of the eligible RIS countries:
EU Member States: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain.
Horizon Europe Associated Countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye, Ukraine.
Outermost Regions: Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Réunion, Martinique, Mayotte, Saint-Martin (France), Azores, Madeira (Portugal), and Canary Islands (Spain).
- Experience: Have at least 5 years of experience in the services they are applying to provide, and at least 3 years of experience in each relevant sub-service.
- Each implementing partner can apply for a maximum of two services.

How to Apply
Submit your application through the EIT Health Application platform. Your application must include:
- A completed application form.
- A detailed service description (Service Plan).
Important:
Selected SPICE Implementing Partners will be included in a long list. Subgrantees will select their Implementing Partners based on their needs. Therefore, inclusion in the list does not guarantee an automatic service order or funding. Selected services and budgets will be funded under the ‘230101 RIS Engage Local Players’ Project Grant Agreement (PGA).
