Guided by the latest in healthcare research and data analysis, this programme paves the way for a future of value-based healthcare, where patient outcomes define success. Designed to adapt to evolving societal needs, it empowers you to shift healthcare models from treatment-focused to prevention-oriented, fostering a system that prioritises proactive health management.
Through in-depth exploration of patient-reported outcomes and real-world data, High Value Care provides the skills needed to drive innovation and integrate new solutions effectively into healthcare systems. This approach ensures that resources are optimised, patients receive high-quality care, and the healthcare system becomes successful and sustainable.

How it works
1. APPLY
Ensure that you apply before the deadline.
2. ADMISSION
Our admissions committee will review applications & invite eligible candidates for an interview.
3. GET NOTIFIED
You’ll receive the admission committee’s decision.
4. PERSONALISE
We’ll evaluate your prior learning, potentially adding to your ECTS credits and shaping your learning path.
5. FIRST MODULE
Complete the innovation, entrepreneurship & leadership module for 5 ECTS.
6. HIGH VALUE CARE MODULES
Complete the modules you select in High Value Care for 17-22 ECTS.
7. INTERNSHIP
Complete your internship with one of our industry partners.
8. CAPSTONE PROJECT
Submit your capstone project based on learnings & experience gained during the programme.
9. EVALUATION
Consortium evaluates capstone projects.
10. CERTIFICATE
Learner receives EIT Labelled Certificate.
Curriculum
Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation in Healthcare Environments – Mandatory:
- Leadership – 1 ECTS
- Entrepreneurship – 2 ECTS
- Innovation – 2 ECTS
High Value Care Education
- Introduction to New Models to Deliver Healthcare – 4 ECTS
- Engaging patients and family/informal care givers for high value care & social impact – 2 ECTS
- Practical Cases enabling New Models to Deliver Healthcare – 4 ECTS
- Condition – 3 ECTS
- Recording – 3 ECTS
- Comparing – 3 ECTS
- Rewarding – 3 ECTS
- Improving – 2 ECTS
- Internal forces – 2 ECTS
- External collaboration – 2 ECTS
- Business Intelligence Tools – 3 ECTS
- Smart Sensing – 3 ECTS
The estimated time commitment for the programme is 20 to 24 hours per week.
Eligibility Requirements
Are you interested in gaining more knowledge and experience in high value care? This Certified Innovation Path is open to:
- Master Students in healthcare-related studies
- Master graduates in healthcare-related studies
- PhD Students in healthcare-related studies
- Healthcare Professional
- A professional level of English is required.
