The Value-based Healthcare (VBHC) Programme is your chance to turn ideas into action.
Gain advanced skills in evidence-based strategies, integrated care models, and sustainability—everything you need to deliver smarter, more impactful care.
Start with three mandatory modules in leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation, then deepen your learning with 12 specialised modules.
Explore patient-reported outcomes, real-world data, and strategies to embed new solutions into healthcare systems. With collaboration at its heart, the programme helps you align stakeholders, co-create with patients, and drive meaningful change across healthcare.

How it works
1. APPLY
Ensure that you apply before the deadline.
2. ADMISSION
Our admissions committee will review applications & invite eligible candidates for an interview.
3. GET NOTIFIED
You’ll receive the admission committee’s decision.
4. PERSONALISE
We’ll evaluate your prior learning, potentially adding to your ECTS credits and shaping your learning path.
5. FIRST MODULE
Complete the innovation, entrepreneurship & leadership module for 5 ECTS.
6. VALUE-BASED HEALTHCARE MODULES
Complete the modules you select in Value-based Healthcare for 17-22 ECTS.
7. CAPSTONE PROJECT
Submit your capstone project based on learnings & experience gained during the programme.
8. EVALUATION
Consortium evaluates capstone projects.
9. CERTIFICATE
Learner receives EIT Labelled Certificate.

The estimated time commitment for the programme is 20 to 24 learning hours per week.

Eligibility Requirements
Are you interested in gaining more knowledge and experience in value-based Healthcare? This Certified Innovation Path is open to:
- Master Students in healthcare-related studies
- Master graduates in healthcare-related studies
- PhD Students in healthcare-related studies
- Healthcare Professional
- A professional level of English is required.

Programme costs
- EU students: €1,000.00 excl. VAT
- Non EU students: €2,000.00 excl. VAT
- EU professionals/executives: €2,000.00 excl. VAT
