Swedish French Accelerator

 

A new joint accelerator programme for Swedish start-ups in digital health and artificial intelligence with support from the Swedish Innovation Agency Vinnova within the framework of the strategic innovation partnership between Sweden and France.

 

During 12 months six selected Swedish start-ups specialised in digital health and in artificial intelligence will receive tailor made support from EIT Health experts and through the French and European partner network, access to the French healthcare ecosystem, develop new research and tech collaborations and accelerate their solution on the French market. The companies start with a 360° need-assessment to create a clear and individualised road map.

Acorai

1 of 7

is a non-invasive intracardiac pressure monitoring device to help reduce heart failure (HF) re-hospitalisations.

develop and commercialise mobile electronic devices and apps to monitor biomarkers for individualised health, specialising in breathalysers and personalised nutrition.

Walkbeat

is the world’s first easy-to-use tool to monitor, track and accurately analyse gait in any environment such as clinic or daily life for areas such as orthopedics, post-stroke rehabilitation, mobility disorders and sports injuries.





Worldish

is a digital and multilingual communication and work assistant called Helen that can be used within healthcare between caregiver and patient.

About the accelerator

Vinnova

The programme is supported by the Swedish Innovation Agency Vinnova within the framework of the strategic innovation partnership between Sweden and France and will run from October 2021 to December 2022 and includes the following:

  • Specialised training focused on market access to France
  • Access to collaborators and partners
  • Support for mastering local regulatory and reimbursement systems.
  • Mentoring and coaching from European vetted experts
  • Invitations to selected fairs and congresses
  • A study tour to France to meet with relevant potential partners and relevant healthcare ecosystem
  • Connections to relevant industry leaders and key opinion leaders to validate your business
  • Contacts to manufacturers, producers and distributors
  • Access to testing, experiment and validation infrastructure, including user validations in post-market studies
  • Support in understanding how to access financing opportunities
