Students can innovate at I-Day events around Europe in November

3rd October 2018

Students work on healthcare innovation in teams; one more date set for March

Details have been released for 17 Innovation Days scheduled around Europe in November, to offer hundreds of students the opportunity to learn entrepreneurial skills and work in teams on developing healthcare innovations. Another event is set for March.

The Innovation Days (I-Days) initiative is designed to promote skills and enthusiasm for health innovation among undergraduate and postgraduate students from any background. Students attending I-Days receive an introduction to practical health innovation tools from educators and other experts, and then work in multidisciplinary teams to tackle real life health challenges sourced from EIT Health projects, local organisations and private corporations. Successful teams will receive resources to develop their ideas and an invitation to the Winners Event in December.
