StarShip Innovation Fellowship programme accepting applications until 16 March

Stanford Biodesign Concept and other approaches employed

Teams of students and professionals have an opportunity to receive advanced training and work together on innovations to address life science challenges through the EIT Health StarShip programme, which is taking applications until 16 March 2018. Using a blend of different educational approaches including elements from Stanford Biodesign Concept, StarShip offers a unique opportunity for participants to be involved in industry-driven life science innovation, working together with innovators in and outside the companies in highly skilled multidisciplinary teams.

Starship is an EIT Health Innovation Fellowship programme in which participants will become familiar with a proven, action-based approach, in order to find solutions to industry challenges. The programme is based on four single-week modules for students and professionals that develop business plans based on challenges provided by medtech industry.

Participants should have a high interest in the health sector, and bring in relevant backgrounds which include, but are not limited to biomedicine, technical fields, engineering, economy, business, and design. A Master’s degree or a PhD will be a plus.
