EHDS Insights Report: Register Now!

Am 3. Mai 2022 stellte die EU-Kommission ihre Pläne für den Europäischen Gesundheitsdatenraum (EHDS) vor. Dieser neue Rahmen zielt darauf ab, Einzelpersonen, Ärzt:innen, Forscher:innen und Regulierungsbehörden den Zugriff auf Gesundheitsdaten von Millionen von Bürger:innen in der Europäischen Union zu erleichtern und ihre zukünftige Nutzung zu verbessern. Der Aufbau dieses Datenraums erfordert Maßnahmen auf EU- und nationaler Ebene und soll einen echten Binnenmarkt für elektronische Patient:innenakten schaffen.

EIT Health hat in 11 Ländern Roundtables organisiert, um lokale Expertise zum Implementierungsprozess zu sammeln. Die Ergebnisse der österreichischen Gespräche stellt EIT Health Austria bald in einem Insights Report vor.

On 3 May 2022, the European Commission presented its plans for the European Health Data Space (EHDS). This new framework aims to make it easier for individuals, doctors, researchers and regulators to access the health data of millions of citizens in the European Union and improve its future use. The development of this data space requires action at EU and national level and aims to create a true single market for electronic health records.

EIT Health has organised roundtables in 11 countries to gather local expertise on the implementation process. EIT Health Austria will soon present the results of the Austrian discussions in an Insights Report.
