Bridges Health: Build Competitive Horizon Europe Health Consortia.

Experienced Horizon Europe coordinators and partners looking to strengthen their next Health proposal can join Bridges Health, an expert-led training and matchmaking programme taking place in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 25–26 November 2026. 

Led by EIT Hub Israel, in strategic partnership with ISERD, the EU Delegation to Israel and EIT Health, Bridges Health is designed to help participants turn early-stage project ideas and new connections into strong, competitive Horizon Europe consortia and proposals. 

Focus on key Health and Cancer Mission topics 

The programme will focus on a selection of Horizon Europe Health and Cancer Mission topics, including: 

• Leveraging Functional Genomics to Reveal Novel Targets for Cancer Treatment 

• Clinical Research by Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructures for the Benefit of Patients with Common Cancers 

• Predictive Biomarkers of Disease Progression and Treatment Response Using AI 

• Virtual Human Twins (VHTs) for Integrated Clinical Decision Support in Prevention and Diagnosis 

• Advancing Bio-Printing of Living Cells for Regenerative Medicine 

From connections to competitive proposals 

Through practical, expert-led sessions, participants will have the opportunity to: 

• Shape their project ideas: Work collaboratively on the core content, objectives and direction of their proposals. 

• Strengthen their consortia: Explore how to structure partner roles, work packages and management frameworks effectively. 

• Build strategic partnerships: Connect with researchers, hospitals, SMEs, industry and innovation organisations from across Europe and Horizon Europe Associated Countries. 

Participation is free of charge, representing an estimated value of €1,050. A limited number of travel subgrants of up to €750 will also be available for selected participants.
