The Sant Pau Biomedical Research Institute is offering its expertise to institutions/consortia interested in genomic and/or big data analysis.
The group of experts has experience in genome-wide genomics, epigenetics, and transcriptomics (GWAs, EWAs, TWAs), as well as the analysis of big data and the integration of different -omics and clinical data.
The team has used -omics to find new treatments, drug targets and drug repurposing, and they have published several papers integrating -omics and clinical data to perform scores to be used in the clinical practice (Carrera et al. Neurology 2019; Del Rio-Espinola et al. Ann Neurol 2012).
They have also collaborated to find new drug targets and repurposing drugs to be used in the clinical practice (Mola-Caminal et al Circ Research 2019; Malik et al Nature Genetics 2019).
