EIT Health Showcases Opportunities for Deep Tech Innovators at DeepTech Atelier 2026 .

On 14 and 15 May, EIT Health participated in DeepTech Atelier 2026, one of the leading deep tech innovation events in the Baltic region, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers, and innovation ecosystem leaders from across Europe.

Representing EIT Health, Izabel Alfany contributed to discussions focused on accelerating innovation and supporting the growth of Europe’s deep tech ecosystem. During the session “EIC & EIT: From Opportunities to Real Impact in Deep Tech”, she presented the opportunities available through EIT Health for innovators, startups, and entrepreneurs working to address healthcare challenges through innovation.

Izabel also spoke at the Deep Frontier Stage with the presentation “How EIT Health is Accelerating Digital Health Adoption Across Europe”. The session highlighted how EIT Health supports the development, validation, and scaling of innovative healthcare solutions, helping bridge the gap between innovation and market adoption across Europe.

Participation in DeepTech Atelier provided an important opportunity to showcase the role of EIT Health within the European innovation landscape and to connect with key stakeholders driving the future of health technology.

EIT Health would like to thank Alina Dolmate and EIT Community Latvia for coordinating the participation and organizing the session showcasing the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs).

The event also served as a valuable platform for strengthening partnerships. During the visit, EIT Health met with BioPhot, following the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the organizations. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss future areas of collaboration and explore joint initiatives that can contribute to advancing healthcare innovation.

In addition, EIT Health congratulates PrintyMed, represented by Jekaterina Romanova, for its achievements as an EIT Jumpstarter success story and for demonstrating the impact that innovative health technologies can deliver across Europe.

Through its participation in events such as DeepTech Atelier, EIT Health continues to foster collaboration, support innovators, and accelerate the adoption of solutions that improve healthcare outcomes for citizens across Europe.
