EIT Health-supported FAITHFUL project selected for WHO Europe’s Global Expo 2027
The FAITHFUL project, led by EIT Health Member Idoven, has been selected to showcase its AI-driven approach to early heart failure detection at the Global Expo 2027 in Dublin.
FAITHFUL, an EIT Health-funded project, has been selected to present at the Global Expo 2027 in Dublin, co-organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe and the Government of Ireland.
Selected from 153 projects considered by WHO Europe, FAITHFUL is gaining international recognition for its work exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can support the earlier detection of heart failure and improve clinical decision-making.
Led by Idoven, the project brings together expertise from across healthcare, research and industry, including AstraZeneca, Karolinska Institutet, Region Stockholm, Servicio Madrileño de Salud (SERMAS), Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón, Fundación para la Investigación e Innovación Biosanitaria de Atención Primaria (FIIBAP), MADoPA, Institut Català de la Salut (ICS) and Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica del Hospital 12 de Octubre.
By using AI to analyse electrocardiograms (ECGs), FAITHFUL aims to help healthcare professionals identify patients at risk of heart failure earlier, supporting more informed clinical decisions and potentially improving patient outcomes.
This recognition highlights the value of collaboration across the EIT Health community, bringing together complementary expertise to address important healthcare challenges and advance innovative solutions.
Congratulations to Idoven and all FAITHFUL partners on this achievement!
