MedTech After Work blends networking opportunities with insightful lectures and panels and builds upon the success of our previous collaboration with Vectura and Swedish MedTech at “Empowering Patients Through Health Data: Exploring the Opportunities and Challenges of the EHDS,” an official side event of the EU Presidency Conference in Life Science held last June.
The launch took place on 7 March at Forskaren, Stockholm’s new life science centre, and attendees discovered how technology and healthcare are coming together to make things better. Notable speakers included Anna Lefevre Skjöldebrand, CEO of Swedish Medtech; Monica Åberg Yngwe, Deputy Managing Director of EIT Health Scandinavia; and Filippa Reinfeldt, Business Developer at Vectura.
Michel Silvestri from the Swedish E-health agency shared insights into the Swedish government’s plans for a national digital healthcare infrastructure, while Daniel Forslund from The Association of Private Care Providers stressed the need for ongoing collaboration between tech and life science in healthcare, along with supportive regulations for new solutions.
Held twice every quarter, MedTech After Work will be a cornerstone date in EIT Health Scandinavia’s calendar, and the next session on 29 May will discuss how the EU election will impact healthcare, a topic of paramount importance in today’s rapidly evolving landscape.
Join us as we keep pushing the boundaries of healthcare innovation!
Together, we can make a difference.
