EIT Health Morning Health Talks (MHT) is a regional forum discussion and networking platform with the aim of co-shaping and improving the healthcare innovation ecosystem in regions classified as “moderate” or “modest” innovators on the EU map. Regional key opinion leaders, policymakers, authorities, innovators, start-up leaders, investors and healthcare professionals bring to the regional table some of the most urgent healthcare challenges faced in European systems, such as healthcare system transformation, AI in healthcare, Value-Based Healthcare, data donation, cybersecurity and healthy living. Thanks to the involvement of EIT Health Hubs, as regional actors improving local ecosystems within the EIT Health Regional Innovation Scheme, the discussions focus on real case studies, best practices and lessons learnt.

EIT Health MHT is a safe environment for leaders to discuss what works, what does not, and where there is room for improvement and to learn from each other, not only for the benefit of particular organisations, but for whole local communities. The discussions usually help formulate recommendations for public administration and/or strengthen partnerships on the regional, national and pan-European levels.

“The range of the EIT Health initiatives and projects is continuously proving across InnoStars and EIT Health RIS that the regions are very active in creating local working communities of healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders. In other words, innovation brews up locally”
