Cardiac arrhythmias are complex conditions that can significantly impact patients’ quality of life, causing symptoms such as palpitations, fatigue and anxiety.
From a clinical perspective, treatment remains challenging. Conventional mapping approaches are often invasive and provide limited visibility into the heart’s electrical activity, making it difficult to precisely identify the origin of arrhythmias.
As a result, procedures may be less effective, with studies suggesting that up to 50% of arrhythmia interventions may require repeat procedures or fail to achieve long-term success.
Putting light on what clinicians couldn’t see
Corify Care’s ACORYS system introduces a new approach to cardiac mapping.
Using a non-invasive, multi-electrode vest and advanced algorithms, the technology enables real-time, 3D mapping of the heart’s electrical activity, without the need for catheter insertion or radiation-based imaging.
This allows clinicians to visualise what was previously hidden and plan interventions with greater precision, moving from treating “in the dark” to making informed, data-driven decisions.

From research to real-world application
Corify Care’s journey from academic research to a market-ready solution has been supported by EIT Health at every stage.
Through programmes such as CaixaImpulse, AFFINE, and the EIT Health Accelerator, the team gained access to funding, mentorship, clinical partners and regulatory expertise — enabling them to validate their technology, conduct clinical trials and achieve CE marking.
The collaboration also facilitated partnerships across hospitals, universities and industry, accelerating the transition from prototype to real-world implementation. The development and validation of ACORYS has been driven by a strong European ecosystem, involving clinical centres, academic institutions and industrial partners. Clinical studies have already involved over 1,000 patients across multiple hospitals, supporting evidence generation and adoption.
