COVID19 : les initiatives de la communauté EIT Health France

De nombreux partenaires français EIT Health ont entrepris des activités et des initiatives qui contribuent à la lutte contre la pandémie. Nous avons décidé de les mettre à l’honneur dans cet article ! Retrouvez toutes les initiatives mises en oeuvre dans la section dédiée du site.

EIT Health France soutiendra la ” Coalition Innovation Santé – Crise Sanitaire “

Le 25 mars 2020, la “Coalition Innovation Santé – Crise sanitaire” lance un appel à propositions pour contribuer à décongestionner le système de santé suite à la pandémie de Covid-19 et permettre aux patients atteints de maladies chroniques de continuer à être pris en charge. Créé spécifiquement pour aider à faire face à cette crise sanitaire, ce consortium est composé de France Biotech, France Digitale, Medtech in France, le laboratoire pharmaceutique AstraZeneca, l’Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) et France Assos Santé. Il est soutenu par Bpifrance et EIT Health.

INSERM et le consortium Reacting

Un essai clinique, appelé Discovery et coordonné par l’Inserm dans le cadre du consortium Reacting, a débuté le 22 mars en France pour tester quatre traitements expérimentaux contre COVID-19 sur au moins 800 patients français. Il s’agit d’un projet européen, dont la partie française est financée par les ministères de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation (MESRI) et de la Santé et des Solidarités (MSS).

CEA et le consortium Reacting

Le projet de recherche du CEA visant à mettre en œuvre un modèle expérimental d’infection par le SRAS-CoV-2 pour la recherche pré-clinique sur les approches préventives ou thérapeutiques a également été sélectionné par le consortium REACTing.
Par ailleurs, sous l’autorité du ministère de l’enseignement supérieur, de la recherche et de l’innovation (MESRI), le CEA a commencé, depuis le 17 mars, à distribuer des masques et autres matériels de protection utiles aux soignants dans les établissements de santé de Paris et de la région Ile-de-France, et d’autres dons sont en cours de déploiement dans les prochains jours.

bioMérieux

Le 24 mars, bioMérieux, acteur majeur dans le domaine du diagnostic in vitro, annonce que sa filiale, BioFire Defense, a reçu l’autorisation d’utilisation en urgence de la Food and Drug Administration américaine pour son test BIOFIRE® COVID-19 destiné à la détection du coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 par les laboratoires certifiés pour des tests de complexité moyenne à élevée.

AP-HP et Sanofi 

Face à l’urgence et l’ampleur de l’épidémie Coronavirus COVID-19, le premier centre hospitalier universitaire d’Europe, l’AP-HP, et le premier laboratoire pharmaceutique français, Sanofi, unissent leurs efforts pour accélérer la recherche clinique face à l’épidémie.

Air Liquide

Le 24 Mars, la branche santé du groupe de gaz industriels Air Liquide a annoncé avoir mis en place une ligne d’assemblage supplémentaire afin d’augmenter sa production de ventilateurs de réanimation et répondre aux besoins des hôpitaux submergés par l’épidémie de coronavirus.

Institut Pasteur

La coalition internationale CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) alloue 4,3 millions d’euros pour les premières phases de développement d’un vaccin contre le SARS-CoV-2 issu de la recherche de l’Institut Pasteur. Ce projet est porté par l’Institut Pasteur dans le cadre d’un consortium avec l’entreprise Themis et l’université de Pittsburg.

UGA

La campagne de collecte « Urgence Covid-19 » soutient les équipes médicales et soignantes du CHU Grenoble Alpes mobilisées pour soigner les patients atteints de formes graves du Covid-19. Pour plus d’informations sur les différentes modalités de don ou de soutien, cliquez ici

Fondation de France, AP-HP & Institut Pasteur

Au sein d’une alliance « tous unis contre le virus », la Fondation de France, l’AP-HP et l’Institut Pasteur ont décidé d’unir leur force et de mobiliser tout leur réseau. Les dons collectés seront destinés à venir en aide aux personnels soignants, en milieu hospitalier ou non, à financer des projets de recherche ainsi qu’à soutenir des acteurs de terrain et des associations qui œuvrent auprès des plus vulnérables.

La ligne C

Montée en moins d’une semaine par une cinquantaine de bénévoles, la ligne C est une ligne téléphonique organisée par des bénévoles, patients et soignants et souhaite apporter un conseil et une information aux malades chroniques. La ligne C est une action citoyenne innovante partie d’un collectif de patients et de soignants… Cette ligne d’écoute est à destination des patients vivant avec une maladie chronique et se posant des questions sur leur pathologie en lien avec le COVID-19.

INVIVOX a décidé de sélectionner sur sa plateforme des WEBINARS diffusés sur le thème de #COVID-19. Exclusivement dédiés aux professionnels de la santé, ces #webinaires ont été créés par des experts et des institutions reconnus. French partners response against COVID19

Many French EIT Health partners have undertaken activities and initiatives that contribute to the fight against the pandemic. We want to elevate the COVID-19 response actions already being undertaken by our partners and start-ups, so we are showing these on our website.

EIT Health France will support  the « Coalition Innovation Santé – Crise Sanitaire »

On 25 March 2020 the “Coalition Innovation Santé – Crise sanitaire” is launching a call for proposals to help relieve congestion caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the healthcare system and enable patients with chronic diseases to continue to be cared for. Created specifically to help in this health crisis, this consortium is composed of France Biotech, France Digitale, Medtech in France, the pharmaceutical laboratory AstraZeneca, Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) and France Assos Santé. It is supported by Bpifrance and EIT Health.

INSERM & the consortium Reacting

A clinical trial, called Discovery and coordinated by Inserm as part of the Reacting consortium, started 22nd March in France to test four experimental treatments against COVID-19 on at least 800 French patients. This is a European project, the French part of which is financed by the Ministries of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) and Health and Solidarity (MSS).

CEA & the consortium Reacting

The CEA research project aiming at implementing an experimental SARS-CoV-2 infection model for preclinical research on preventive or therapeutic approaches was also selected by the REACTing consortium.
Furthermore, under the authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), the CEA started, since 17 March, to distribute masks and other protective materials useful to caregivers to health care institutions in Paris and the Ile-de-France region, and other donations are being deployed in the coming days.

bioMérieux

The 24th March bioMérieux, a world leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics, announced that its subsidiary, BioFire Defense, has received Emergency Use Authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration of its BIOFIRE® COVID-19 test for use in CLIA moderate and high complexity clinical laboratories to detect SARS-CoV-2.

AP-HP & Sanofi 

Faced with the urgency and scale of the Coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic, Europe’s leading university hospital centre, AP-HP, and France’s leading pharmaceutical laboratory, Sanofi, join forces to accelerate clinical research in the face of the epidemic.

Air Liquide

The 24 March, Air Liquide announced that it has set up an additional assembly line to increase its production of resuscitation ventilators to meet the needs of hospitals overwhelmed by the coronavirus epidemic.

Institut Pasteur

The CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) allocated 4,4 millions euros for the development of a vaccine against SARS-COV-2, a project led by a consortium of the Pasteur Institute, Themis and the University of Pittsburgh.

UGA

The “Urgence Covid-19” collection campaign supports the medical and healthcare teams at Grenoble Alpes University Hospital, who are mobilised to care for patients suffering from severe forms of Covid-19. More information for either supporting or donating here.

Fondation de France, AP-HP & Institut Pasteur

The Fondation de France, the AP-HP and the Pasteur Institute have decided to join forces and mobilise their entire network. The donations collected will be used to help healthcare personnel, in or out of hospital, to finance research projects and to support field workers and associations working with the most vulnerable.

La ligne C

Set up in less than a week by around fifty volunteers, the C line is a telephone line organized by volunteers, patients and caregivers and aims to provide advice and information to the chronically ills. Line C is an innovative citizen action that is part of a collective of patients and caregivers. This hotline is intended for patients living with a chronic disease and wondering about their pathology in relation to COVID-19.
