Public are welcome to our biggest annual event
The EIT Health Summit, our largest annual event, has been moved online due to the pandemic and will involve a series of events during 23 November 2020-3 December 2020. The EIT Health Summit Series will welcome the public to live events and prerecorded presentations of our projects, while offering attendees a range of networking opportunities.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges but has also accelerated a wave of new health innovations and partnerships at a global scale. Partnerships and innovation in health are more important now than ever before, and the EIT Health community has been working tirelessly in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
During the pandemic, it’s our responsibility as a European health network to provide continued opportunities to engage with our community and other experts at this established annual convention, while safeguarding the safety of our participants – which is why our Summit will take place as a digital series, and your participation is welcome.
Live sessions, networking and standing content
The format of the EIT Health Summit Series is dynamic and flexible, and will include live sessions that cover the most topical and meaningful issues on the healthcare innovation agenda. Live sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday for two weeks and will allow the audience to listen and interact with our speakers and delegates. The first three live sessions will cover the topics of AI, High Value Care and New Business Models. The final live session, on Thursday, 3 December 2020, will feature the final pitches and awards ceremony for the EIT Health Catapult, our flagship pitch competition, where the most exciting and promising biotech, medtech and digital health start-ups will compete before a jury of experts, industry stakeholders and investors.
In between the live sessions, and on the day after the series, 4 December 2020, there will be networking opportunities, where participants can meet online.
There will also be pre-recorded content that is available for you to explore at a time that suits you.
