EIT Health Starter-Lab Network

Basic entrepreneurial skills can empower students to realise healthcare innovation. The E-Lab Network helps students take the first steps in entrepreneurship.

The Copenhagen E-lab offers students and young professionals from various educational programmes an entrepreneurial journey, during which they will learn about innovation in healthcare and put those lessons into practice. Participants undertake hands-on work on a provided challenge – or seek to deliver their own idea to the healthcare sector. Working in multidisciplinary teams, learners are taught and supported by experienced experts from both the public and private sectors throughout two 10-week programmes. Along with receiving training, teams are mentored to facilitate their transition from innovation and entrepreneurship courses at universities to the EIT Health Accelerator and national-level accelerator programmes.

Course dates

The first edition of the course began 20 February 2020 in Copenhagen. A second edition is planned for autumn. Check back here for details.
