Improving diversity sensitivity in health care
Providing the best healthcare to diverse groups requires sensitivity to their unique needs. This course prepares healthcare professionals to give better care in diverse societies.
This programme aims to respond to health-related challenges of a more diverse Europe by providing health professionals the skills to deliver diversity sensitive healthcare for all patients. Interventions will be made on several levels throughout the programme, through a structured process, to ensure optimal implementation of the training. Following the pilot of this programme in 2020, the diversity training will be scaled up and made available for all European countries in 2021.
