Amalfi Analytics offering to help hospitals to manage patient transfers and bed capacity
Amalfi Analytics has developed a platform to facilitate transfers of patients between acute hospitals/emergency units and longer-stay hospitals. It can be used from any PC with a browser, or as a smartphone app.
It is designed to remove the need for lengthy phone or email communications, which may result in errors.
Although the group designed the platform prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, they would like to work with hospitals and adapt it to help with patient transfers and managing bed capacity. The platform can quickly be implemented and can incorporate all sites being used to provide clinical care, such as private clinics or field hospitals.
The platform allows central control to supervise the overall situation (offer and demand of beds in the territory) and transfers as they occur, in real time.
