EIT Health Spain has partners from seven regions: Andalusia, Basque Country, Cantabria, Catalonia, Galicia, Madrid, and Valencia. Together they offer a vibrant innovation environment, with close ties between businesses, universities, hospitals, research centres, and healthcare providers who act as strong agents in the three pillars of the innovation triangle: research, education, and business creation.
Our vision is to be a reference alliance to improve the quality of life of European citizens that mobilises the agents of health innovation in Spain, combining research, education and business, with the ability to drive and generate technology transfer, and social and economic impact.

The El Prat airport is situated 10 km from the Barcelona Science Park (PCB).
By taxi the journey time is 20 minutes.
To go by train from the airport take Line 1 of the local train service (RENFE Rodalies) as far as the mainline station “Barcelona Sants”, which has connections with the Metro system (Line 3).
To go by Metro from the airport, take L9 From Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 to “Zona Universitaria”. The ride will take 32 minutes and costs 4,5 euros one way. Take Metro Line 3 in the direction of “Zona Universitària” and get off at the last station.
