Tell us about your journey into marketing?
I started my career as a Production Assistant at WBAI FM in New York and The Irish Repertory Theatre, where I gained hands-on experience in media and communications. After gaining experience in content creation and lead generation at Direct IT and Pluralsight, I transitioned to a role as a Freelance Marketing Agent, where I developed tailored digital marketing strategies and executed campaigns through digital advertising and social media. These efforts successfully increased brand awareness and engagement for a diverse range of clients. These experiences paved the way for my current role, where I focus on digital marketing and event management, leveraging my diverse skill set to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
How will your experience in lead generation benefit you in your current role?
My experience in lead generation taught me how to identify and target potential customers effectively, which is crucial for creating successful marketing campaigns. It also helped develop my skills in data analysis and customer engagement, allowing me to tailor our strategies to meet the needs and behaviours of our audience. Additionally, the ability to nurture leads through personalised communication has been invaluable in building strong relationships and driving event attendance.
Overall, my lead generation background will provide a solid foundation for understanding and reaching our target market, enhancing both our digital marketing efforts and event success.
What specific goals and initiatives do you plan to implement in your new role at EIT Health?
My primary goal is to elevate our online presence through strategic digital marketing campaigns and engaging content creation, enhancing visibility and interaction with our programs. I will also focus on organising and managing a diverse range of events to facilitate networking and collaboration within the healthcare sector. By using advanced analytics and feedback mechanisms, I plan to refine our strategies and ensure that our marketing efforts are data-driven and impactful. Overall, my goal is to enhance EIT Health’s impact and visibility as a leading force in health innovation and improve overall stakeholder engagement.
What excites you about joining EIT health?
I am excited about joining EIT Health as it provides an opportunity to collaborate with various organisations, start-ups, and peer across Europe. I am eager to contribute to projects that drive transformative change in health and well-being, leveraging my skills in digital marketing and events to amplify EIT Health’s mission.
