Wefight marked October Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its recent launch of Vik Sein, a new artificial intelligence companion dedicated to help patient and family caregivers concerned by breast cancer.
WeFight is a French startup, and a winner of the EIT Health France Innovation Journey pitch contest, which develops an artificial intelligence to help cancer patients. This artificial intelligence is a virtual companion called Vik.
Vik discusses via text messages with patients to provide advices and recommendations or their pathology. It is content popularized and written by health professionals. The aim is to empower patients and prevent relapses.

On the patient side, Vik is available through instant messaging, web-based or SMS.
The integration of Vik in the care pathway reduces the cost of managing cancers by improving the quality of life of patients, promoting treatment at home while securing their treatment and strengthening the link with their caregivers.
Moreover, it increases the efficiency of healthcare teams thanks to use of artificial intelligence that will handle most patients queries saving more time for caregivers to support the most complex patient.
