Helpful Entrepreneurial Answers Responding To Basic ElementAl Healthcare Tasks
Going from a healthcare challenge to a solution is a complex journey. Students in HEARTBEAHT begin the journey, creating together and producing a prototype to pitch to potential investors.
The HEARTBEAHT programme is built around a creative process referred to as a “creathon”: students learn about challenges and then articulate them into problem, ideation, prototyping, validation and a business pitch. The creathon begins with real-life challenges sourced from healthcare practitioners. Participants build their own teams, with whom they will continue their entrepreneurial journey, and the teams receive tailored mentoring. The main prototyping course will also be tailored to the needs of the participants and will be complemented with extra interactive workshops provided by Philips. Validation will be done during mid-term presentations at Erasmus Medical Centre, in collaboration with hospital experts. The pitching will be held in Paris in front of a jury at the Institute Mines Telecom.
Course dates
The first edition of the course is taking place online and started on 23 April 2020. An autumn edition of the course is being planned. Check back here for further information.
