Meet the Ireland-UK team

Team

Made up of seven members from a variety of backgrounds, who offer diverse skill-sets in connecting health innovators from across Ireland and the UK into Europe.

Graham Armitage

Graham has great knowledge of all things EIT Health, both from the partner perspective and internally. He has continuously been a fantastic support to the team and a trusted colleague to our neighbouring European hubs. In Graham's interview, he shares top tips on building consortia for health innovation projects.

Sneha Saloni

With her diverse experience in the print media industry and the charity sector, Sneha works to enhance the hub's content strategy, and foster meaningful connections with the Ireland-UK audience. She holds a post grad diploma in Journalism and an MA in Gender Studies.

Marc Butterly

For over 20 years, Marc has held leadership and entrepreneurial roles across the health, events marketing, and software industries. At EIT Health Marc is responsible for providing support to health innovation scale-ups and SMEs, helping them identify opportunities for business growth, financing and strategic development.

David Pollard

An expert on the role education plays in health innovation, David is the lead for the building and development of EIT Health’s new European-wide digital learning platform, the EIT Health Academy. In his interview, David shares advice for problem solving through design thinking.

Elaine Murray

Bringing expertise in Communications and Marketing from the tech industry, third sector, and European Union institutions, Elaine manages the Communications strategy. She works across Content, Digital, PR, Events and Public Affairs for the Ireland-UK hub.

Patrick Reidy

Patrick Reidy is the Collaboration Lead at EIT Health Ireland-UK. Before joining EIT Health, he was Executive Director of the ENABLE Research Programme, funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI), hosted at Trinity College Dublin.

Shona D'Arcy

An electronic engineer with a Ph.D. in speech recognition, Shona D’Arcy founded Kids Speech Labs in 2018, aiming to tackle the escalating issue of waiting lists for children’s speech and language therapy within national health services. At EIT Health, She will support early-stage start-ups to grow, and help showcase Irish and UK companies on the European stage.
